Fit-up, sub-assembly and functional testing before a component ships.
Many of our jobs don't ship as single components — they ship as assemblies. This stage is where individually machined and fabricated parts are fitted, aligned and joined into the finished tool, fixture or structural assembly the drawing calls for.
For press-tool and die-set work, this is where the top plate, stripper plate, guide posts and die blocks come together and are checked for alignment as a running assembly, not just as individual parts.
Where a functional or fit test is specified, we run it here — confirming the assembly performs to the drawing's intent before it's released, rather than leaving that discovery to the customer's receiving inspection.
This is also the stage where minor fitting adjustments are caught and corrected early, before an assembly is packed and shipped.
